It's official. The new MLS team in Seattle next year will be called
Seattle Sounders FC.
I am very glad they got it right. That has not always been the case with this league!
And they kept the Green and Blue color scheme too.
As for that logo .... well no one is ever 100% right. But hey, we got the name we all wanted so lets stop while we're ahead!

I went to soundersfc.com, and there's a countdown to the kickoff, that terminates at 10pm on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Will they get homefield advantage by playing every game in the middle of the night? Veeeerrrryyy Clever, Seattle.
Also, if something were to happen to the space needle, everything in that city would have to be rebranded.

The reason the Wizards had trouble drawing is due to the KU game, KC is Jayhawk territory. I say they get more people out than that game suggests.
Agreed that it doesn't mean anything. It actually terminates at 10pm Pacific, which would be 1am eastern. Unless my math is wrong...which happens anytime I try to do math.
