I don't understand why Josh Wolff is still getting national-team time. Does any wise head out there have an idea?

Along the same lines - Eddie Lewis? I've always been a fan of his, but at his age is he likely to play any part in the upcoming qualifying campaign? Why not call in someone younger to play that spot? Not sure who that is offhand, but there's gotta be someone.

Also, very nice to see Cory Gibbs back. Hopefully he can finally get over the injury bug and start playing regularly again, for club and country.

There really isn't a better option than Lewis at the moment for the left sided player who is in Europe. Beasely and Convey are injured and Pearce is already in the lineup. Adu deserves time back with Benfica to impress a(nother) new coach after an impressive showing at Olympic qualifying.

If Beasely and Convey remain injured (or just off form in the likely case of Convey,) then who are we going to call in to play in the Summer Qualifiers? I have no problem with bringing him in to evaluate where he's at in terms of being able to contribute in that kind of situation. We used Cobi Jones, Earnie Stewart, Gregg Vanney and Jovan Kirovski during WC06 qualifying and no one expected them to make the final 23; they were there to make sure we qualified when we needed a small role player. Provided that's the role BB sees for Lewis, I have no problem with it.

Why oh Why is Convey still being considered for national team anything? The guy is a waste of space on the field. He provides nothing of quality - can't break down opponents on the dribble, not that fast, poor passing / crossing / shooting in the final third, and average defending skills.

What does he add!!!!! NOTHING!
