Luis Arroyave writes on The Red Card blog today that the Fire are expected to announce the signing of Polish striker Tomasz Frankowski at any time now. TF played for Tenerife of the Spanish 2nd Division on loan from English club Wolverhampton last season. During preseason last summer he suffered a knee injury and was released by Wolves. He has scored 157 goals for his club teams and 10 for Poland.
