Scotch Egg Are Special News

Ricardo Clark of the Houston Dynamo was hammered by MLS Head Office for his vicious kick on Carlos Ruiz of Dallas last Sunday. Clark got a league record 9 game suspension, and another league record $10,000 fine. Wow. I guess they are sending a message. I wonder if the players union has an appeals process, and if they will exercise it. I would think they will.

I know this is nitpicky coachs can not be Red Carded. Only players can. Coaches can be expelled from the game and suspened but accourding to FIFA rules they can not be red carded. Now, this doesn't mean that the ref didn't show a card. I didn't see the incident, but if he did I am sure it came up in his assesment.

Good for Kaka...for some reason I thought by now we'd be seeing Adriano as player of the year, but he's been off the radar for some time now. He was one of my faves, I hope he's able to get his shit together.

So the guy who matched the all-time scoring record, led the team in goals, captained the team to the Gold Cup final and hit the first hat-trick since Eddie Johnson against Panama is undeserving of the award? What exactly has Bocanegra or Howard done this year for the national team?
