Luis Arroyave of the Chicago Tribune on his Red Card blog says he has been in contact with Peter Wilt and been told that the rumor of Wilt becoming GM of Chivas USA is false. OK then. Let's move on.

And to that end, Jaime Cardenas of the LA Times says Chivas USA is going to hire Shawn Hunter as their new CEO. Hunter is the former President of the Phoenix Coyotes NHL team, and most recently an executive at AEG in Los Angeles.
