Andrea Canales at Soccernet says Beckman will travel with LA to Toronto. But I can't imagine him playing. So why is he traveling? To save some face for the team and league right now.

A few months back the other owners in MLS prevented Dave Checketts from buying GolTV, because they felt it would be a conflict of interest, it looks like his company SCP will still be in the world football broadcasting business in some ways. They are teaming up with GolTV to bring us all the South American World Cup Qualifiers in a joint marketing set up. I am wondering if MLS will make him pull out of this deal too, and if so what Checketts might do then. I am sure he will not take it lying down.

While watching the SuperLiga on Wed night I noticed that Pachuca's giant centerback Mosquera was not playing. I assumed he must have gotten too many yellow cards. But Luis Bueno at Sideline Views informs us that he has signed with Sevilla in Spain. Great move for him, terrible for Pachuca. He is a monster.
