Jaime Moreno scores goal #109 of his MLS career, setting a new record in the league. He was tied at 108 with recently retired Jason Kreis. Great feat by Jaime, one of the leagues true all time great, not to mention that he has won 4 MLS Cups!

du Nord Three Stars Of The Game
3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - the big Swede did not score but he was insanely dangerous on at least 3 different occasions.
2. Tim Howard - he had some huge huge huge saves to keep the USA within sight of their hosts.
1. Kim Kallstrom - that goal he hit was an absolute screamer.

The USA have now lost 4 games in a row for the first time in 10 years. Not good.

Defender Gonzalo Seagares of Chicago got a Red Card v KC from 2 yellows. KC scored 2 of their 3 goals after he was sent off.

KC had over 12,000 in the stands, thanks to Chicago's Blanco. That number is sadly high for KC this year. I just don't get it.

Even though Jaime Moreno has just set the MLS goal scoring record at 109, and he will add to that total, I fully expect Ante Razov to catch & pass him in the very near future. Not nessicarily this season, but in the next couple for sure.

Chelsea has signed Brazilian Juliano Belletti from Barcelona. He plays on the right side of defense.
-This almost assuredly means that Chelsea is done chasing another Brazilian right back - Daniel Alves from Sevilla. Personally I am happy to hear that because he would have been stifled in Chelsea's rigid formation. He plays all over the field for Sevilla, which is what makes him so dangerous.

Yet another young Brazilian defender, left back Cicinho has left Real Madrid to sign with Roma.

Have you watched Chelsea yet this campaign? Not nearly the same locked-down style of Mourinho's first three seasons: they've had Shawn Wright-Phillips playing right wing, for heaven's sakes! I'm not sure they're done chasing Alves, but he would be quite at home in a side that's playing more openly than they have in a half-dozen years.

Why can't KC draw fans? I don't know that region of the country, but are there reasons to believe that if the MLS were to expand in St. Louis that it will be any different?

Why not move the KC team to SL?

Man, from the highlights that US game looked exciting! Tim Howard made some HUGE saves! Of course, any team can be made to look exciting in highlights, but still, it seemed the US had some very legit chances on goal. And I loved that shot that Feilhaber took from way out, it's good to see somebody taking chances and really having that fire to try and score...now let's just hope those chances start going in!

The US didn't deserve to win that game, and Sweden definitely outplayed our boys, but it shouldn't have happened how it did. There was clearly a foul leading to that goal.
