I've been following this whole NE Ohio stadium deal and, although the idea of MLS in NE Ohio excites me, what pains me is the thought of cutting down more woods and filling in more wetlands to build a stadium, retail and paved parking lots. The proposed site is only a few miles from where I grew up and I can tell you that area has undergone so much development over the past 20 years it's scary. It's just too bad they can't look at building on some unused industrial land that needs to be redeveloped (and there's plenty of that in NE Ohio) rather than paving over some of the small portion of natural area left in that part of the state.
