On Friday, MLS's newest team in Toronto will have the chance to stock it's roster with players from the other 12 teams in the league. Each team was allowed to "protect" 11 players on their current roster, leaving the others exposed for picking. But each team can only lose 1 player from their list. While it is a crap shot for teams leaving some players vulnerable, the risk is not massive.
-There are a few names that surprised me and a few that didn't. Here are the noteworthy:
Adrian Serioux
Andy Williams
Avery John
Bo Oshoniyi
Clint Mathis
Cobi Jones
Craig Waibel
Daniel Hernandez
Dave Van Den Bergh
Edson Buddle
Greg Vanney
Jason Kreis
Joe Franchino
Jon Busch
Jose Cancela
Matias Donnet
Mike Petke
Nate Jaqua
Nick Rimando
Tony Meola
Zach Thornton

That would be a fantastic move on their part.
