New Fork News

German tabloid paper Bild reported that US Soccer has offered Juergen Klinsmann the head coaching job at more that $3 million a year, and with Sigi Schmid as his assistant. Sunil Gulati, President of US Soccer, vehemently denies any of this has happened, and I think he is a very believable person.

MLS has handed out two more post-season awards:
-Jonathan Bornstein was named Rookie Of The Year
-Bob Bradley was named Coach Of The Year
So two awards to Chivas USA. Both well deserved.

I think the Dallas fans want coach Colin Clarke's head on a stick. They are pissed about losing to Colorado for the second year in a row, at home. They are totally baffled as to why he pulled Kenny Cooper from the game when they clearly needed to hold the lead, yet nearly every time they tried to do just that throughout the season with more defense it backfired. They also don't know what happened that young attacker Ramon Nunez who never saw the field at all (although Nunez showed his massive immaturity by storming off the bench when he wasn't made the third and final sub - lame). They want Clarke gone now!

After seeing some shaky video, and reading many fan accounts of the Colorado v Dario Sala post match brewhaha, I must say that even though Colorado went a little overboard in their celebratorial taunting of Dallas fans, Dallas keeper Dario Sala was way out of line in punching Colorado players. Way out of line. He should and will be suspended for a number of games to start next season. I understand his motives, but he was wrong.
