The big splash in the English tabloids these days is about club managers taking under the table kickbacks from players agents for buying their players on the transfer market. Sam Allardyce of Bolton is the man several agents have pointed their finger at. Is this illegal? I am not sure what the problem is? If a manager takes money to sign a player who stinks then it will only make his team stink and he loses his job. The BBC has even gotten in to the mud slinging with an "expose" on the matter. My favorite part of this whole saga is the fact that the term used for these supposed bribes is "bung". What is that? The only other person I have heard use the word bung is Beavis.
