The 93rd US Open Cup Final:
Chicago 3-1 Los Angeles - Nate Jaqua scored early for Chicago in a goal mouth scramble, then Andy Herron doubled the lead on a great header to the far post off a Justin Mappinho cross, letting Chicago roll thru the first half. But LA came out smokin in the second half and Alan Gordon headed the score in half. Very late in the game with LA desperately looking for another goal, Tony Sanneh stormed down the left wing and fed Thiago a perfect centering pass for the Cup sealing goal for Chicago! Both teams played their asses off and tackled as hard as they could. A really fun and action packed game for sure. This is Chicago's 4th US Open Cup title! And the team has only been around 9 years! Not bad at all.

What "players" on Toronto are unhappy about the turf? Don't they only have Jim Brennan?
I think the turf is no big deal. it works fine in Saprissa, it works fine in Moscow, it'll be fine in Toronto. The public has a right to year round enjoyment of the stadium they helped financed.
Did you see Crouch's second goal, damn impressive. An impressive mid-air volley / bicycle kick with power and accuracy...it is crazy to see him do things like this. There is definitely a little bit of Pele in the Manute Bol frame....
pele in manute bols body is fantastic! thanks jb
