The US Open Cup Quarterfinals last night - all 4 home teams won - match reports included:
DC 3-1 New York - Josh Gros scored first for DC, to be equalized by Amado Guevara for NY, but Jamil Walker got 2 more for DC.
Chicago 2-1 New England - Andy Herron scored for Chicago, then Taylor Twellman tied it for New England, but Herron scored again this time from the PK spot to win it.
LA 3-1 Colorado - Clint Mathis for Colorado & Quavas Kirk for LA scored in regulation time, with Landon Donovan scoring two for LA in Extra Time to get the win.
Houston 3-0 Dallas - Eddie Robinson, Alejandro Moreno & Chris Wondolowski all scoring for Houston who destroyed Trinidad & Tobago World Cup keeper Shaka Hislop's debut with Dallas. Hislop did not make any saves!
