Minnesota 3-0 Toronto - our boys leaped over Toronto and off the bottom of the heap, by a point. The first half was pretty horrible to watch with lots of defenders lumping the ball to the forwards who were either offside or unable to score when one on one with the keeper. But the second half was much brighter, and even thrilling at times. The last 2 goals were scored in the 90th and 90+ minutes so it wasn't the rout it might look like on the scoreboard. A great win nonetheless.

Check out The DCenters for stuff about the free beer movement. I am trying to get a concerted effort from a bunch of people and would enjoy a blog or two about your experiences bringing new people to Thunder games.

That goes for anybody else that is reading this as well.

In that Nash article, it says Nash's bro Martin played for "Stockpole in England" Good ole Stockpole FC. I think he must have played for Stockport County.

That list of 100 is totally bullshit. If you're gonna say "most powerful 100 in Southern California", at least include a couple of token choices from San Diego.

CEO of Volcom (skateboarding clothing line) more powerful than Irwin Jacobs, Alex Spanos, John Moores? Gimme a break...

Although I do agree that Donald Bren is a well deserved #1
