Amazing Bruce Arena interview: There is a fantastic thread on Big Soccer by a poster called Autogolazo talking about a TV Show on Fox Sports En Espanyol called Los Tecnicos. The show is running 1 hour interviews with each of the 32 World Cup bound coaches. Autogolazo gives us a very detailed rundown of the Bruce Arena episode that has some incredible insight. WHY CANT WE GET THIS KIND OF THING ON BIG TIME AMERICAN TELEVISION!!!!!!! There are actually 11 parts to this post, but they are each really short (in length, not content). You will LOVE this.

American defender Lil Greggy Berhalter scored an 86th minute PK to help his team Energie Cottbus snag a 1-1 draw with Greuther Furth and all but ensure promotion to the Bundesliga for next year. Three teams are promoted from the 2nd division and with 3 games left Cottbuss in 6 points ahead of Furth for the 3rd and final spot. Yanks Abroad has more.

hey dude,
thanks SOOOOOOO much for the link to the arena interview. so much good info. i wasnt sure who the other center back (onweyu + ?) would be but i guess we have our answer now. i figured he might go with landon as the withdrawn striker and sub in EJ in the 60th if need be. convey could play the left side and he could put beasely on right side, leaving dempsey as a sub or some combo of that. beasely can play either side methinks. thoughts???
the longer ramon stays injured, the better off chivas will be
the one thing i learned from the 02 world cup was that i have no idea what bruce arena might do with his lineup on any given day - i never saw it coming, and i bet as much info as he is giving us we will still find ourselves surprised somehow
but i sure love reading this kinda stuff too, its like being in on a secret conversation or something
