To Ponder
Hey folks
Still not back in town, but I hope to be back at the du Nord sports desk by Tuesday.
I had a few free minutes tonight and wanted to put a question out there for people to answer and explain.
Here it is:
Which team that did not qualify do you think will be missed the most at this years World Cup?

Montserrat, of course...
Seriously, I think either Nigeria, or Cameroon would be my pick.
I'll miss Ireland.
While watching Cameroon in the ANC I've gotta say they'll be the team I'll miss most in the WC.

I will miss Nigeria. They've always been an entertaining side.
Ireland are usually fun to watch too--and it's funny 94 and 2002 they made the second round but '98 and '06 they didn't make it.
Cameroon is a good shout too; It will be interesting to see how the 'new' African sides fare.
I'll miss the Scottish fans. The Tartan Army should be invited to all World Cups whether the Scottish national team qualifies or not.
Ireland - hands down.
I'll miss Ireland and Denmark.
Federal Islamic Republic of the Comoros Islands, either that or Vanuatu.
I vote Senegal because they were the most fun to watch in 2002. Turkey is my second place vote.
can't deny the the spirit(s) of the fans of eire, thus their numbers will be sorely missed as will the players as well! dang
Cameroon, of course. Bulgaria, because I'm a big Stoichkov fan. And Turkey.
Jamaica - not because they are a great team or would have played well - just because...
Belgium, only because of the fantastic flying mpenza brothers.
Ireland have become a real dire side, though maybe they're starting to turn that around.
I vote for Cameroon and Peru. Too bad that Eto'o for Cameroon and Farfan and Solano for Peru won't be there.
Greece, the best team in Europe.
Cameroon & Nigeria
