I Was A Fool When I Was News (AM edition)

-It'll be a wild MLS day with the Superdraft starting at Noon eastern from Philadelphia. See it on the MLS site on the web, or on FSC TV. (Word has it that ESPN will take over the draft coverage starting next year.)
-Players are moving all over the place. Truth and Rumor. Fact or Fiction. Fast and Furious. In hotrods and by Motorcyle. Here is what is happening already today, and there are some real doozies:
-Eddie Johnson of Dallas is headed to Kansas City in exchange for Josh Wolff! Holy Moly Rocky! Sweet Mother of God is FCD getting ripped off on this one. There better be more to that deal coming up.
-Eddie Gaven of Metrostars to Columbus for striker Edson Buddle! Wow! OK!
-Sigi Schmid makes more players moves with his new Columbus team - Defender Chris Wingert & Keeper Matt Jordan to Colorado, in exchange for draft picks.
-And then sending midfielder Kyle Martino to Houston midfielder Danny O'Rourke.
-Repeating from yesterday, Joe Cannon to Kansas City, which is why Matt Jordan to Colorado is happening. I figured a new keeper had to be going to Colo, cuz back up Byron Foss is way to big of a putz to be put in the nets.
-Frank Dell'apa at the Boston Globe writes about New England coach Steve Nicol's eye for young talent. And that does NOT mean he has an eye for young boys.
-Copa Del Ray - Quarterfinals - 2nd legs played next week. Last nights socre:
Deportivo La Coruna 1-0 Valencia
-Can you believe that the frickin Mexican Premier Division's 2006 Clausura kicks off today and has a full package of games this weekend? Here ya go:
Friday
UAdG Tecos v San Luis
Saturday
Chiapas v Guadalajara Chivas
Toluca v Necaxa
Atlante v Sinaloa Dorados
Morelia v Cruz Azul
UANL Tigres v America
Atlas v Veracruz
Sunday
UNAM Pumas v Santos
Pachuca v Monterrey
-Big Euro Matches This Weekend:
Manchester United v Liverpool - Sunday on PPV
Villareal v Osasuna - Sunday on GolTV
Lyon v Auxerre - #1 v #3
Real Sociedad v Athletic Bilbao - the Basque derby
-Preki is going to become an assistant coach for Bob Bradley at Chivas USA
