The Neeeeeeeeeewwzzzzzzzzah

-After last weeks insane flare throwing contest that took place during the Inter v Milan Champions League quarterfinal derby, UEFA has fined Inter a small amount of money and ordered them to play their next 6 home European competition matches in an empty stadium. The only stipulation to the punishment, is that after the first 4 games have been played, UEFA will review all home and away Inter matches in all competitions, and if there is no further crowd disturbances, then the final two games of the ban will be suspended for three years, and dropped if things stay sane during that time.
-Jon Busch is the MLS player of the week for April 18.
-Sepp "Leaky" Blatter will run for a third term as FIFA President.
-Yuri Syomin was named new coach of Russia. I don't know who he is or what he has accomplished previously. Maybe someone out there can tell us.
-Go check out the ugly cheap shot that Cleetus Mathis laid on this new kid from the Galaxy two weeks ago. I had not heard about it at all until the fine was announced. How did he not get red carded for this one, or at least suspended afterwards. (Video included with article.) In the footage you will hear announcer Allen Hopkins makes reference to the dark side of Cleetus. No kidding.
